Important Note: The Honorary Consulate of Jordan in Kathmandu does not directly handle visa submissions, processing, or issuance. All visa applications must be submitted to the Embassy or Consulate of Jordan designated for your region. However, we are here to guide and assist with your inquiries.
Visa Requirements:
- Completed visa application form
- Passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel
- Two recent passport-sized photographs
- Return flight tickets
- Proof of accommodation (hotel booking or invitation letter)
- Bank statement or proof of sufficient funds
Additionally, some travelers may qualify for:
- Visa on Arrival: Available for many nationalities at major entry points (fee: 40 JOD, approximately 56 USD).
- Jordan Pass: Waives visa fees and provides access to over 40 tourist attractions (valid for stays of 3+ nights).
- Visa-Free Entry: Citizens of GCC countries (e.g., UAE, Saudi Arabia) enjoy visa-free travel to Jordan.
- e-Visa or Pre-Approval: Required for certain nationalities; check eligibility before applying.
